Two Facing Robots – Conceptual Study

The current approach in robotics is driven by anthropomorphism and the (for the now) impossible goal to recreate natural processes with machines. In this study we imagined and prototyped two abstract non-anthropomorphic robots build to take care just of each user. In their iteraction with each other they are creating an endless generative feedback loop through stroking and sensing each other. The concept appears in Laural Swans paper »A Robot Perspective«.
In colloberation with Steffen Fiedler.
